We checked out the very cool SIG Sauer MCX Rattler Canebrake suppressor-ready .300 Blackout pistol with innovative pivoting (and folding) pistol brace.
The SIG MCX Rattler Canebrake is the newest configuration in the MCX line. SIG designed this one to be completely suppressor-ready and ships with an “inert muzzle training device,” i.e. fake suppressor, so you can shoot it as is right out of the box without the use of a suppressor.
The barrel is 5.5 inches long totally covered by the SD handguard. It is interchangeable with other Rattler barrels.
The side folding PCB (Pivoting Contour Brace) pivots so each user can shoot comfortable in a variety of positions and still see the sights.
It also features an ergonomic grip angle for ultimate control and an upgraded coyote finish flat 2-stage match trigger. It has a Cerakote Coyote tan finish. Included is a Magpul 30-round magazine. The SIG MCX Rattler Canebrake is 29.25 inches long, 2.8 inches wide, 8 inches tall, weighs 6.5 pounds and operates on a short-stroke gas piston.
MSRP is a little under $3,000.
