SHOT Show 2019 is only 25 days away and we’ve started out “must see” list, including the new “battle-ready” Barrett REC10 .308 Winchester AR-10. The military had already committed to purchasing the rifle even before it was available.
Everything Barrett put into this rifle is about balance and quality. The fit is spot-on with tight tolerances and the shorter handguard and lighter weight barrel make it a smooth-shooting, perfectly balanced rifle.
The gas tube is built tough, made to take years of abuse. It also features a carbine-length buffer, Magpul furniture, ambidextrous controls and a chrome-lined CMU barrel. It operates on a direct gas impingement system.
The REC10 is also available in 6.5 Creedmoor, and .260 Remington.
MSRP on the .308 model is $2,750.
We can’t wait to get our hands on one!
Fred Mastison for Tactical Life already had the opportunity to shoot it. He talks about it in the video below. (We’re totes jealous.)
